RADAR COMPATIBILITY
It is possible to implement the radar function on the GP-1871F by connecting the Furuno DRS4W model radome radar antenna via wi-fi. It is possible to view the radar scan full screen, or in one of the three portions into which the monitor can be divided. The Radar-Overlay function, superimposition of the radar scan on the cartography, can be activated only if a given compass is present on board. Management of the Radar function is very simple thanks to the touch screen monitor which allows some basic adjustments.
NAVIONICS CARTOGRAPHY
The GP1871F v4.0 is compatible with Navionics+ and Platinum+ charts. Enjoy detailed marine charts, SonarChart™ with variable colors assigned to each depth range, SonarChart™ Live, dock-to-dock guidance technology, SonarChart™ satellite photo overlay Shading, relief shading, 3D display, panoramic aerial photographs.
C-MAP 4D CARTOGRAPHY
The GP1871F plotter is only compatible with C-MAP 4D cartography on micro SD support. Three tire sizes are available: Local, Wide and Continental. The cartography gives access to a series of additional functions including: 3D image, satellite photos, Raster and Vector cartography, Easy Routing mode and free C-Weather weather data download
GRAPHIC INTERFACE
The touch screen graphic interface is very simple and intuitive. The operating modes are perfectly customizable with windows and selectable from 5 types: Chart Plotter, Depth Sounder, Radar, Navigation data and Autopilot. The “Edge-Swipe” function guarantees the user easy access to the retractable side menus that can be activated from the four edges of the screen.
REZBOOST MODE
The RezBoost function is only available if the traditional 50 and 200 kHz dual-frequency sounder module with 600W/1 kW power is used. This mode allows you to take full advantage of the characteristics of the monotone transducer for a high resolution image. You can also take advantage of the ACCU-FISH function to determine fish size and bottom discrimination.
THE ACCU-FISH FUNCTION IDENTIFIES THE SIZE OF FISH
ACCU-FISH™ is FURUNO’s fish sizing function for individually assessing the size of a fish.
ACCU-FISH™ is capable of detecting fish ranging in size from 10 to 199 cm, in depths from 2 to 100 m.
You can use different symbols to display each echo returned by the detected fish. This is a great helper for beginners and makes fishing even more interesting. The available symbols are: a circle, a square and two fish icons.
The two different fish icons representing size (large: over 50cm, small: 10-49cm) to help the angler identify individual fish. Square and circle symbols help identify fish without obscuring the echo display.
MIRROR CONTROL ON TABLETS AND SMARTPHONES
This application, Mirror Control* (free), allows WiFi control of the GP1871F from an iOS or Android smartphone or tablet.
* You can use tethering or a local area network.
* The maximum number of connections is 1 per GP.
* It is not possible to establish connection with the DRS4W and a smartphone at the same time
* The maximum distance of use is 5 meters. This distance can be reduced if objects are in the way.

FEATURES
Cartographic GPS with high brightness 7-inch touch screen LCD display equipped with integrated sounder module. The device is equipped with a built-in GPS receiver, a traditional sounder module with a frequency of 50/200 Khz and a power of 600W/1Kw, and a TrueEcho CHIRPTM sounder module with a frequency range between 40 and 225 kHz and a power of 300W/600W/1Kw.
