They are NXDN digital analogue devices designed for professional use operating in the VHF (IC-F1100D) and UHF (IC-F2100D) bands.
Different versions are available to satisfy any requirement.
In VHF band: IC-F1100T with display and keyboard, IC-F1100S with display and simplified keyboard, IC-F1100D without display and without keyboard.
In UHF band: IC-F2100T with display and keyboard, IC-F2100S with display and simplified keyboard, IC-F2100D without display and without keyboard.
Secure grip, attractive design have passed the strictest resistance tests to obtain the MIL-STD-810G certification and a degree of protection equal to IP67.
The radios are equipped with a large internal loudspeaker which, with its 1500mW audio output, ensures the quality of the received signal is always at the highest levels, guaranteeing communication clarity and excellent audio performance even in particularly noisy environments.
In addition, Icom’s exclusive AquaQuake feature allows water to drain from the speaker when water enters the speaker grille. By enabling this function, the speaker emits a hum and begins to vibrate, expelling excess water and thus ensuring always crisp and clear audio.
They integrate the VOX function which allows you to communicate without the need to press the PTT key and therefore to operate hands-free.
The integrated Voice Scrambler also guarantees maximum reliability and confidentiality of communications.
Thanks to the 2,400mAh lithium-ion battery supplied as standard, the devices are able to guarantee up to 18 hours of battery life.
Other important features include selective calls 5 tones compatible with all European standards (CCIR, ZVEI, EEA), analog programmable CTCSS and DTCS tones, Lone Worker function, Man Down, key lock to prevent accidental channel changes , while digitally it will be possible to make group and individual calls, send and receive short text messages, view the name of the caller. These last functions are only available for the versions with display.
