TDS CLOUD SYSTEM
TDSCloud is a last generation taxi dispatch system that uses modern communication technologies to maximize the number of incoming requests, serving them at the same time as quick as possible.
The system requires the installation of an on-board computer (Mobile Data Terminal) in every taxi to constantly communicate information about their status (FOR HIRE or HIRED) and GPS location to the operating centre.
The system is able to handle unlimited operators, and each of them can perform different tasks according to user profile (configurable).
The dispatcher is able to assign the jobs to the best candidate using sophisticated search algorithms which are completely configurable and customizable by the Customer to best suit his personal needs.
From the management web site you can also:
– Manage driver’s shifts;
– Display different detailed diagnostic reports, related to all served taxi requests (caller details,
taxi candidates, priority in areas and / or taxi stands, etc.).
Finally, the Cloud infrastructure is designed to ensure maximum service continuity, redundancy and excellent performance.
METHOD OF OPERATION
The System uses a complex fully customizable IVR system which can receive and serve the user’s calls through two different operating modes:
Automatic Mode: typically used in small / medium environments, without premises and/or Call Center Operator. In this mode, the call is transferred directly to the taxi driver’s phone. The same mode can also be used in a small operators call center solution to cover nighttime or holidays.
Operator Mode: In this mode the call is transferred to the call center operators who enters the requested data into a simple web interface with embedded VoIP softphone.
Registered users can ask for a taxi by themselves, without speaking to an operator, choosing between the last pickup addresses, by using a DTMF menu.

TDS Web Booking
The system includes an highly customizable web site, which can be used by private customers or affiliated Hotels who can quickly call a taxi by simply accessing the web.
Through a simple and intuitive form, the user can type the address of the pickup point or select one from a list of preloaded and customized addresses. It is also possible to call a taxi with special features such as:
credit card acceptance;
animals on board acceptance;
English speaking driver;
etc;
These characteristics of the taxi, or taxi driver, are called “Special Services” and are used to narrow the searching criterias and find the right taxi to suite customer’s needs.
After submitting a request, the system immediately confirms the availability of the taxi and its arrival time.
The customer can accept or reject the proposal.
Customers Registration
Customers who wish to use the TDS Web Booking service can register themeselves to the site by entering their data.
Depending on system configuration, it is possible to allow customers self-activation, instead of the default manual activation by administrators.
